A Little Bit About Me!

I am an abstract artist based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and have been creating art for as long as I can remember.

While I pursued a career in the corporate world, art was always a constant presence, providing the creative freedom and expression that I sought. Although my professional path took me in a different direction, the desire to create never left me.

Eventually, I made the decision to step away from corporate life and dedicate myself fully to my true passion: art.

What do I do?

As a self-taught artist, I am continually exploring new subjects, techniques, and materials, driven by curiosity and a commitment to creative growth. My work is rooted in abstraction, where layers of acrylic paint, texture, and mark-making come together to create pieces that invite emotional connection and personal interpretation.

Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, I aim to create visual experiences that encourage viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own meaning within the work. Each piece is an exploration of atmosphere, memory, emotion, and imagination—an open conversation between the artwork and the observer.

My Passion for Abstraction

I am fascinated by the freedom of abstraction and the unique connection it creates between artwork and viewer. Rather than presenting a single narrative, my paintings invite each person to discover their own meaning, memories, and emotions within the layers of colour, texture, and movement. No two interpretations are ever the same, and that sense of individual connection is what makes abstract art so magical to me.

Through my work, I aim to create pieces that inspire curiosity, spark conversation, and bring a sense of wonder into the spaces they inhabit. Every painting is a journey of exploration, allowing intuition and creativity to guide the process and transform a blank canvas into something entirely unique.

Creating art is no longer just a passion—it is the life I have always dreamed of living.

Art That Evokes Emotion

Every piece I create is unique, inviting a personal response from each viewer. No two people will see exactly the same thing, and that is the beauty of abstract art. Free from fixed meaning, my work encourages individual interpretation, emotional connection, and conversation. I hope each painting brings a sense of wonder, sparks curiosity, and becomes a meaningful presence within the spaces it inhabits.
